Dear Friends,

We are a small Christian community committed to becoming an example of what it means to take the Gospel into the world, to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. During your time with us you will grow in your faith, your knowledge of Scripture, and your understanding of God’s world. But equally, we hope you will grow in your understanding of how to live out the gospel because of the example of our faculty and staff.

As you consider becoming part of our community, we want you to know that SCTC is an intentional Christian community, which takes its direction from God’s word rather than society. God has spoken to us and called us to be a “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exod 19:6, also see 1 Pet 2:5). As a kingdom of priests, we are called to bring a message of reconciliation to the world on behalf of God. We are also called to lead a holy life, which Scripture says will be an “aroma of life among those who are being saved and those who are perishing” (2 Cor 2:15).
