Doctrine
As a college dedicated to the training of people in the Word of God for service in the name of Christ, we have taken our stand on the following doctrinal standards.
- SCTC accepts the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God, which is authoritative, infallible and without error in all that it teaches.
- The Scriptures are the supreme standard for all that we do and teach.
- We all hold the early church’s summary of the Christian faith found in the Apostles Creed.
- SCTC is a multi-denominational reformed college that stands upon the reformed summaries of the faith coming out of the Reformation era. Consequently, each of our faculty and board members subscribe to one of the following confessions of faith.
- Westminster Confession of Faith
- Three Forms of Unity (i.e. The Heidelberg Catechism, The Belgic Confession, and The Canons of Dort).
- 1689 Second London Baptist Confession
- 39 Articles of Religion
